Introduction

KYRO's custom exceptions feature is designed to proactively flag potential discrepancies in timesheets. This functionality is particularly useful for identifying critical audit risk areas, such as exceeding per diem limits or misreporting travel time. All users can identify and address these exceptions, ensuring compliance and accuracy in time reporting.

Instructions

Identifying Exceptions

  • Log into your KYRO account and navigate to the 'Timesheets' section.

  • Timesheet periods with potential discrepancies will be marked with a red circle containing an exclamation mark.

Viewing Exception Details:

  • Click on the red circle to view which timesheets have triggered an exception. This will provide an overview of the issues needing attention.

Inspecting Individual Timesheet Details:

  • Click on the duration linked to the exception to open the specific timesheet in question.

  • Within the individual timesheet, you will see the red circle next to the entry that requires revision.

Understanding the Exception:

  • Click on the red circle again to view the details of the flagged issue. This information will help you understand what needs to be corrected.

Editing the Timesheet:

  • To correct the discrepancy, click on the pencil icon next to the timesheet entry to enter the editing mode.

  • Make the necessary adjustments to bring the timesheet into compliance.

Saving Changes:

  • After making corrections, save your changes. Confirm that the timesheet now adheres to the required standards and guidelines.

Resolution of Exceptions:

  • Once the timesheet is corrected and complies with the set parameters, the red circle indicating an exception will disappear, signaling that the issue has been resolved.
