Introduction

Voice Notes is an innovative feature within the KYRO mobile application designed to simplify the process of updating project statuses. Recognizing that typing extensive updates can be cumbersome, Voice Notes allows users to record their updates verbally. The feature includes AI technology that provides a concise transcript of the spoken updates, supporting both English and Spanish languages.

Instructions:

  1. Open the KYRO app on your mobile device.

  2. From the list of projects in the home page, click the project you want.

  3. From the set of items listed, click Voice Notes.

  4. Locate and tap the microphone icon, which is positioned at the bottom right corner of the screen.

  5. Press the record button to start dictating your update. Speak clearly and at a moderate pace to ensure accuracy.

  6. To end the recording, tap the stop button.

  7. After stopping the recording, you will notice a message indicating that the transcription is being generated. The time it takes for the transcript to be ready may vary from 30 seconds to a few minutes, depending on the length of the recording.

Note: This is also available on forms for text box fields.

Conclusion

The Voice Notes feature in KYRO is an excellent tool for project members who prefer to give verbal updates on-the-go. It enhances productivity by allowing for quick and effortless communication, with the added benefit of a written transcript for record-keeping and clarity.
